HP Adds Heft To SMB OfferingsGSM association global roaming initiative

HP strengthened its Integrity server lineup by introducing a rack-optimised unit- the Integrity rx2660 entry-class server. The new product line and GOTO market will address a whole new opportunity.


The server major also introduced a new version of the HP-UX 11i operating system and new model for BladeSystem c-Class environment, to facilitate mission-critical virtualisation practical for businesses of all sizes.
 

The HP Integrity rx2660 is the first Integrity model of entry-class server that will handle robust application tier workloads and is versatile enough for porting, application serving, testing and development.


With the launch of the new line of server products, HP India intends to refurbish its GOTO market strategy by making these servers available through select channel partners. HP continues to expand and equip expert channel partners with technical expertise and resources to broaden the market reach to enterprises of all sizes. HP has also launched new channel programs to help broaden the reach of the world's most advanced computing platform.

HP's latest Integrity Server line makes virtualisation easier to deploy with mainframe-class availability. The new Blade server ensures important applications, including business intelligence and data warehousing, are now simpler to secure and manage. It is designed to effectively manage over 100 million zettabytes of storage (1
zettabyte = 1 billion terabytes).
