Not to forget two decades of its business experience, formidable service, support and warehousing facilities."

"When it comes to optical media and media accessories, Memorex has had an undisputed retail market leadership and customer loyalty in the U.S. for a little more than 40 years. It is indeed a proud moment for us to be associated with the global phenomenon that it has become over time and bring it to India. All Memorex products come in attractive packaging that influences buyer's choice almost instantly. Buoyed by the business prospects that we foresee, we've set an ambitious target– to secure at least 20% market share in all product categories, by this year end," asserts Dushyant Mehta, Chief Executive Officer, Mediaman Group of Companies.

Imation shall leverage on Mediaman's pan-India reach as it has 4000 active channel partners across the country under its fold. It has business operations in 40 Indian cities – through 14 direct offices and 26 C&F (carry and forward) agents. Its access to upcountry markets will be of immense advantage for Memorex as they have come to represent enormous business potential in the recent past. Demand from B&C class cities is on an incessant swell as the rapid development they've been witnessing lately has had a positive impact on their technology awareness, education and adoption and usage levels.
