LG launches the trend-setting GSM handset

LG Electronics India, a worldwide technology and design leader in mobile communications, today announced the launch of its new entry-level feature-packed phone – the LG KP106B. This basic phone is targeted at high capacity users who have high talktime requirement. The phone supports the best in class battery.

Commenting on the launch, Mr. Anil Arora, Business Group Head, GSM,PCs and DAV LGEIL said, “By introducing this new basic phone in the market, we intend to cater to the needs of our entry level consumers who are looking for a handset which has a perfect blend of looks, features and brand name. The KP106B has a great battery life and hence an exceptionally superior phone in its segment and we are very positive that it will delight our customers.”

The phone is equipped with an attractive 4 way metallic navigation key, 16 polyphonic ringtones and one touch FM key. The LG KP106B  comes in an appealing glossy black colour and supports both English and Hindi keypads. LG’s unique anti-theft mobile tracker is also embedded in this handset, through which one can track their stolen mobile phones, as soon as another SIM card is inserted. It also has in-built Sudoku game, which will generate keen interest among the consumers.

This attractive handset with ergonomic keys has a built-in handsfree and is feature packed with FM (on speakerphone as well), World clock, multiple alarm , calculator, Stopwatch and unit converter. LG KP106 B  comes in a nice candy bar form, and features a 1.5  inch LCD screen and 65k  display with a 128*128  pixels resolution. It measures 123X115X64 mm and is extremely sleek and stylish weighing only 63 g. The newly launched handset allows storage of up to 300 phone numbers and 100 SMS messages.

The LG KP106B GSM handset is available in the market for Rs. 2000 only.
